My five month old pup came with troubles that soon grew into big problems. By the time I sought help I had doubts I'd be able to keep her. Belinda understood Tilly straight away. She gave me techniques I could use from day one and provided all the right opportunities through her dog training classes. Now, a year later, the biggest thing I've learnt is how to give Tilly the confidence that I have her back. She can now relax which is a huge relief for everyone! My name is Abby, and I have a Maltese x Shih Tzu puppy Sunny. Before I started teenage puppy school with Heel Sit and Stay dog obedience, I couldn’t take Sunny for a walk without him barking at every person and dog who walked past. I was very anxious to take Sunny to dog training because I knew he would become overwhelmed, so I did a lot of research and I chose Heel, Sit and Stay. I drove every weekend to Cooroy from Brisbane, and it was the best decision I ever made.
As I thought when we first arrived, Sunny was overwhelmed but within a couple of minutes I had learn how to help calm him down. By the next week Sunny was able to easily socialise with other dogs and people, and to sit quietly in busy areas such as cafes. Throughout the course he learnt new tricks and long-lasting good behaviours that have significantly helped in my day-to-day life. I am so grateful for Belinda and Kym for everything they did for not only Sunny, but also helping me to gain confidence in my ability to handle Sunny when he gets overwhelmed. I highly recommend coming to Heel, Sit and Stay for any dog owners.

Belinda is fun and relaxed to train my dog Lola with . She puts lots of work and thought into her business and this shows in the quality and variety of her classes and little extras she comes up with . I particularly enjoy Belindas sense of humour, and look forward to our weekly classes.

"I wasn't entirely sure what to expect prior to attending the wagging wooofer workshop, but after having attended I was amazed at how amazing the experience was. Having an intensive workshop where myself and my puppy, Milo, could not only progress his training was already invaluable but to top it off we were provided an in-depth session with an experienced vet, given extensive health information including complimentary options we hadn't considered before, shown the potential of what our dogs could achieve via demonstrations by dogs that have already completed some of Belinda's more advanced training. The food & coffee were first class, as was the breathtaking venue and having the company of like-minded dog owners where we could talk about the similar issues, and successes, we've had with our puppies was a great benefit too.
From a socialisation aspect for Milo it was a rare opportunity for him to spend an extended period with other dogs where he could learn to behave appropriately and relax. It was also a joy to see every single puppy napping at the same time after a fun day of training. Belinda, Kym, and everyone involved were fantastic and have provided the best experience, and results, I have had with any dog trainer. The experience and compassion that Belinda brings is second to none. I just wish I had known about Belinda and her workshops when I got my first puppy! I would not hesitate to recommend the workshops to anyone who wants to set their puppy up to be the perfect dog and companion."
